Commento

La strada che porta da Beverly Hills a Santa Monica è piena di lavori stradali ed è un miracolo se per le 19 del 13 aprile 1964 arrivino tutti gli invitati, così molti rinunciano e si godono lo spettacolo a casa del produttore Harold Mirish.
Battaglia per miglior film, sicuro quello straniero a Federico Fellini, mentre le attrici erano in lotta più che per la statuetta per i bellissimi abiti fatti di stoffe preziose.
Grande ovazione per Sidney Poitier che vinse l’Oscar come primo attore di colore della storia degli Awards.
